If you find yourself in the northern region of Mexico City, a visit to El Campechano is a seafood lover's dream. Nestled on Donizetti 364-A in Gustavo A. Madero, this bustling eatery has garnered glowing reviews for its fresh offerings and welcoming atmosphere. Diners consistently praise the quality and taste of the seafood, with particular highlights being the delectable fish fillets and the mouthwatering shrimp empanadas. One reviewer noted that the ambiance might be crowded, as they seat several patrons at communal tables, but this only enhances the experience of sharing great food in good company.
What sets El Campechano apart is not just the satisfying dishes but also the excellent service. Guests like Alejandro Miguel Zambrano emphasize the quick service and polite staff who contribute to a comfortable dining experience. The restaurant is known for its affordability, with generous portions at reasonable prices. While the menu doesn’t include alcohol, the refreshing water at around 60 to 70 pesos per liter is a delightful companion to the fresh seafood.
Overall, El Campechano is esteemed for its freshness, friendly service, and vibrant atmosphere, making it a must-visit destination for seafood seekers in CDMX.

Very good seafood. Every time I've been, they never disappoint. They feel fresh and of good quality. They only sell water and don't sell any alcohol. The water is delicious and costs approximately 60 to 70 pesos per liter. The atmosphere is great. They seat several people at the same table since it's crowded and it's faster that way. But everything feels fresh and comfortable, and the people are very nice. I highly recommend it

It is a mandatory stop to eat seafood in the northern area of CDMX. You have to go early because during rush hour you will surely have to wait a long time. They serve you food quickly, they treated me very kindly. The fish fillets are a must, the shrimp empanada is very delicious. In general everything is fresh and apparently there is hygiene. They need a spicier sauce. The costs are very appropriate for what you receive.

A truly magnificent place. This establishment has sold sea food for generations and it has become a stamp for the neighborhood. The service is quick, the prices are great and the taste is really what you need when you're recovering from a hangover.
